Almost no cookies.
You choose the rest.
By default Rivala runs on a single cookie. Anything beyond that — analytics, advertising — loads only if you say yes, through Google's certified consent platform.
The one we need.
A session cookie keeps you signed in. It's strictly necessary, so it doesn't require consent.
Analytics (optional).
Privacy-respecting traffic measurement via Vercel — only with your consent.
Advertising (optional).
If we show ads via Google AdMob, ad cookies load only with consent; otherwise ads are non-personalized.
You're in control.
Manage or withdraw consent anytime through Google's CMP. Outside regulated regions, no consent prompt appears.
What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies are small files or identifiers stored on your device that let a service remember things — like keeping you signed in or measuring how a page is used. This page explains which ones Rivala uses and how you control them.
Strictly necessary
Rivala sets one strictly necessary cookie to keep your session active and secure (managed by our authentication provider, Supabase). Because it is essential to deliver a service you asked for, it does not require consent under the ePrivacy rules or Colombian law.
Analytics
Where you consent, we use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic — which pages are visited and how the app performs. It is privacy-respecting, does not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell this data. Without consent, analytics do not load.
Advertising and the consent platform
Rivala plans to show rewarded advertising through Google AdMob, managed by Google's certified Consent Management Platform (Funding Choices). The CMP implements the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework v2.2 and US privacy signals (such as the Global Privacy Platform). Advertising cookies and personalized ads load only with your consent; otherwise ads are served in non-personalized mode.
Managing your choices
In regulated regions (the EEA, the UK, California and others) Google's consent prompt appears automatically based on your location, and you can reopen it at any time from the "Manage privacy preferences" control (available once advertising is enabled). You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Outside regulated regions no consent prompt is shown.
