rules.
These Official Contest Rules apply to Rivala prediction contests, Rivaligas, rankings, points, Coins and rewards. Rivala is free to play, skill-based and does not involve real-money betting.
Free to enter.
No purchase, payment or Rivala Pro upgrade is required to create picks, join eligible Rivaligas or compete in rankings.
Skill-based scoring.
Players predict football match scores before kick-off. Points come from prediction accuracy, not from a random draw.
No cash prizes.
Rivalacoins, Coins, badges and boosts are virtual in-app rewards with no cash value and no real-world redemption.
Apple is not involved.
Apple does not sponsor, administer, endorse or participate in Rivala contests, Rivaligas, predictions, rewards, rankings or prizes.
Sponsor and administrator
Rivala contests are sponsored and administered by Maina Labs S.A.S., NIT 902.054.153-2, Cajica, Cundinamarca, Colombia. Questions about these rules can be sent to contact@rivala.io.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, have a valid Rivala account, accept the Terms and Privacy Policy, and be located somewhere Rivala is legally available. Rivala may restrict contests, rewards or paid features in specific jurisdictions when required by law or risk controls.
How to participate
Create or join a Rivaliga or official Rivala contest, then submit predictions for the listed football matches before each match kicks off. Creating an account, joining eligible contests and submitting predictions are free. No purchase is necessary. Buying Rivala Pro or any optional feature does not increase eligibility, scoring, odds of winning or reward value.
Scoring and winner determination
Unless a contest states a different rule in its own detail page, each match scores 3 points for an exact score, 1 point for the correct winner or draw outcome without the exact score, and 0 points otherwise. Leaderboards rank participants by total points. Tie-breakers may include more exact scores, earlier valid entry, or shared rank.
Prediction lock and visibility
Predictions can be edited until the relevant match kicks off. At kick-off, the prediction locks and cannot be changed. Other participants cannot see your prediction before kick-off; after kick-off, predictions may become visible inside the Rivaliga or contest.
Rewards and prizes
Most Rivaligas award ranking position and bragging rights only. Some official Rivala contests may award Coins, Rivalacoins, badges, boosts or similar virtual rewards shown in the contest details. Virtual rewards have no monetary value, are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, goods or services outside Rivala, and may be adjusted, expired or revoked as described in the Terms.
Fair play and disqualification
Rivala may reject entries, remove rewards, suspend accounts or disqualify participants who use multiple accounts, bots, scripts, automated play, exploits, abusive behavior, false identity, location circumvention, or any other conduct that harms fair competition.
Contest period
Each Rivaliga or official contest runs for the matches, tournament or dates shown in its detail page. Entries close at the relevant kick-off deadline or at the contest-specific deadline displayed in the app.
Apple non-sponsorship
Apple is not a sponsor of, nor involved in any way with, Rivala contests, Rivaligas, predictions, rewards, rankings, or prizes. Apple has no responsibility for administering contests or awarding rewards.
